We're a member of, and participate in, a number of social and cultural organizations, including the Kelowna and District Arts Council. Click here or on their logo at right for more information.

As with much of the publishing world, these innovators are in the process of extending their offerings through the combination of digital products and services with their more traditional ones. Our considerable depth of experience in this type of migration has been put to work by a number of them.
Wood Lake Books is one of Canada's largest independent religious publishers, with customers on three continents for its curriculum products and non-fiction books. A Glimpse into Our Colourful Past Before locating our offices in the Okanagan, we plied our trade for more than 15 years in the publishing centres of Toronto and New York, and the new media centres that emerged in Vancouver and San Francisco, with occasional forays in places between.
Following are some highlights of our engagements, examples of our clients, and some links to more samples of our work.
Traditional Media. Book and magazine publishers have been the source of much of our work, and we have been privileged to work with some of the leading companies and organizations in the world, as well as with numerous smaller, specialized publishers. Through these associations and projects we have built up a portfolio of hundreds of books, periodicals, and support materials.
Random House, based in New York, is one of the largest book publishers in the world, with a massive retail presence. We worked with a number of their imprints, producing custom illustrated giftbooks, and designing general-interest trade books. Later, we became involved in a series of smaller-publisher acquisitions in specialized and niche market segments. For a sample, click here.
Canadian Periodical Publishers Association was founded to represent the interests of Canada's growing magazine publishing industry in the mid-1970s, headquartered in Toronto. We were actively involved in establishing the association, in designing catalogs, marketing support materials, and training programs, and in conducting co-marketing campaigns to support members across the country.
New Media. From the introduction of desktop publishing and CD-ROMs in the early and late 1980s respectively, through the rising - and falling - tide of the Internet and Web, we have worked hard to keep ahead of technology, and put it to appropriate use for our traditional media clients, and integrate it thoughtfully into their products and services. As well, we were actively involved in the growth of the new media sectors, contributing products and services to dozens of companies that emerged to create new sectors of opportunity in software, digital content and services, and telecommunications.
Motion Works Group was, in it's time, the most advanced digital media company in Canada, with a growing international business in multimedia products. Based in Vancouver and San Francisco, the company produced educational and consumer multimedia for major international publishers, and graphics tools for new media developers. As senior publishing consultants, we created a number of best-selling brands for the company, and marketed them worldwide through co-publishing and private-label relationships. For a sample, click here.
Telit Communications developed one of the first voice-over-Internet applications, which was sold as a stand-alone consumer product, and as an add-in to other telecommunications products. We provided branding, packaging, and promotional materials to support the launch of the company and its flagship products.
